the map sensor is on the intake manifold on the pass side.... its facing up and is black in color should have 3 wire going to it.... check the wiring all the way back to the ecu to make sure u have no shorts..... if not... probe the map sensor (not the black/brown wire) i believe its the yellowish one anyway probe that with a volt meter and give the voltage readings to us like this (just an example not actual readings *it should not look like this*) map voltage rpm throtle % 5v 4500 wide open 3.5 2500 1/2
and so on id do idle,1/4, 1/2, 3/4 , and wide open
just to give an idea now one wire u should be getting 5v constantly that is the computer's referance wire...the other would very....and the black/brown wire should be grounded ie 0v. hope this helps a lil and be sure to post this too also if u can do the tps for me tps=throttle position sensor (located on the throttle body back, top sensor. wired the same way..
