Who turned it into that?? Hmmm. BTW..my loaded 93GT with auto was quick for a junk Ford AOD. 5spd's run at least .6 better. Engine swaps?? We don't have engine swaps man, not a civic. How much would it take to put a Honda in the 10's?? Thats what I thought. And as far as Mustangs go, ya there is alot, because people like them and they were one of the best bangs for the buck and now finally are starting to perform again. I can get into the 12's NA for a whole whopping $3000 or less!!....try that with your car. Wow, you beat a 5000lb truck with a V-8...what a race. Maybe try racing a Kenworth rig since it has a huge turbo engine...make you feel better then. You were refering to dealer prices in the 1st place and most KBB reatil is what a dealer would ask. BTW, almost all 87-93 Mustangs sell for more than book..I sold my 89LX 5.0 for $4500 with 133,000 miles on it...but you know they have such bad resale. Camaro's do not have as good of resale as Mustangs I will agree. I like imports and domestic cars but when you start talking smack and don't know a thing..well this is what happens. I also do all my own work to my car including the auto to 5spd swap and also working on my friends 95 Eclipse that I removed the engine/tranny and am putting a HRC Stg IV turbo kit in also along with of course a built bottom end. You probably can't change your own oil!
