I'm not sure about the front speakers, but crutchfield.com says 6-3/4". I recently just had to get speakers for the rear panel and I got an oversized 6-1/2". All I had to do was drill new holes in the speaker pod and that was it.

I ended up just driving around with my rear panel off and stopping at speaker shops so I could check to see if the speaker would fit. Not really carring what kind of speakers I got, I ended up getting the first that would fit which were these http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/Pioneer/CDA/CarProducts/CarProductDetails/0,1429,92673,00.html

And you shouldn't need an amp at all.. I don't
