i think w/ a rs you don't need a dash kit, if you don't and use a wire harness, then yes its easy and quick. if you do need the dash kit it will take a while but its not hard.
but don't rush it though, crimp everything good, pull on them a little to ensure a proper connection and insulate w/ electrical tape or heat shrink if you got time and patience
