3 10s will be louder and more punchy as where the 12s will go deeper. Personally 12s are the best size to go for a punchy but rather deep sound and are, in general, the best size to go with for a 50/50 mix of SQ/SPL. Sony is crap imo but if your on a budget its better than nothing.
