Let a pro do it. I can and have been installing stereos, phones ect since highschool (1989) but the one thing I always take it in for is the alarm. Most of it is the same as any stereo install but in general pros do better conceling wires, better conections and a cleaner job ect. Of course a bad shop can do a bad job also. If something goes wrong you can always go back.
