that really depends on the characteristics of the woofer, if your using a woofer that is meant to be used as a subwoofer then it probably won't sound very good because the frequency response tends to roll off pretty quickly. there are, however alot of high quality 8" midbass woofers that can be "shoehorned" into our doors and will provide a real nice midbass kick. check out these people: http://www.madisound.com/ they have alot to offer
