I have these coilovers on stock struts now, and very soon im going to be getting AGX's. I dont have the metal ring that holds up the perch sleeve. Do i need this part? I talked to Rich at Dreamspeed and he said i shouldnt need it. Is this true?

Someone please help me out!

Usually they can rest on the weld but the o-ring is a bit smaller so I would feel a bit safer using one. Maybe you can just order one from maxspeed or maybe someone has some for sale.
