#26809, "2G GS-T and GS hubs... same or different?"

Replaced the rear hub on my car, and some of the wub-wubs went away, its still loud back there, so I think it might be the rotor. I would prefer to change all 4 hubs, but no job and no money, kinda limit my repairs to what my parents feel like spending on me. So, I have a 95 GS thats a parts car, it has 2 front hubs on it with less than 5K miles on it, will these fit my '95 GS-T? I know the drive axles are different, due to the different transmissions (educated guess) but thats only the inner splines, correct? Would the outer splines match, therefore allowing me to use my GS hubs on my GS-T? Thanks if you guys know it, Nick

The only difference in hubs I know of is ABS vs Non-ABS.
You can swap between GST and GS/RS.

I think we can use ABS hubs too, I don't think the sensor wheel really changes anything with non ABS systems

yes we can use ABS hubs and the ABS wheel is easily removable from an ABS hub if you needed to use a non ABS hub on an ABS car.

should be all the same. the only one you hafta watch out for is if you're working on a 95 with rear drums. ALL of the parts in the rear changed mid-year. it's a major PITA.

hmmm that's weird:

33307A MR103653 HUB ASSY, RR WHEEL 01/94 - 06/98 W/O ABS
33307A MR103654 HUB ASSY, RR WHEEL 01/94 - 05/96 ABS
33307A MR272114 HUB ASSY, RR WHEEL 06/96 - 11/98 ABS
33307A MR455808 HUB ASSY, RR WHEEL 11/98+ ABS

hubs changed in 96 and 98? or is that just a change in the sensor wheel thingamajig?

My guess would be sensor wheel. I have a 97, 96, and i have cut up an early 95 and a mid-late 95. In fact i have early 95 hubs on my 97 when i did the disc changeover. All the hubs were the same on non abs. Could have to do with the fact that the factory changed and no longer sells non abs hubs. you get an ABS hub and they tell you to just ignore the sensor. Now i have a late sensor wheel if someone has an early 96 to compare it to...........

Edit....i have a friend with a 3rd gen which i have the rear hub from and 2 front hubs....exactly the same as the 95 ones i have.

The sensor wheel i have is from the 3rd gen.....anyone have an early one. I think the 98 change was the factory no longer making the ABS/NON ABS hubs. in 96 i am not sure but its not the actual hub itself, even the shaft diameter wher the sensor is the same (looking at them now)
