They make those for bikes, i've never seen it on a car. I don't know if it's cool or what. I believe the concept is for weight reduction but I'm not sure

they're called wave rotors.. the theory is to discipate the heat created from friction outwards while being much lighter so you have less rotating mass. they do work, but a good slotted rotor with a large surface area would suit street use better.

good enough for John Sheperd, good enough for me. He has them, they are made by "the brake guy". I haven't seen his website but if they are good enough to assist stopping a high 8 second car then i'd say they aren't to shabby. Shep only stops once per race, though. One stop from ludicrous speed followed by a 30-90 minute break isn't too hard on brakes. I bet that those would fade in NO time flat.
