HEY COOL thats what my plan is too...to go all Alpine! Well I already got the Alpine head unit...I want to get 1 Type R 15 or 1 Type R 12...or I might go ahead and get 2 Type R 12s....I dont know what I want to do...I wanted to save weight, but look at me talkin about gettin 2 12s again...my box is already big...I want to get them embedding my hatch floor, and go ahead and get an Alpine amp and change my component speakers to Alpine....//ALPINE BABY!

I ended up going with an Alpine 7995 HU, 176A Components up front, 174A 6.5s in the back, and 2 of the 2OHM DVC 10" subs. I am running the front four on a F340 and the subs on the M500. I am still working on making it all pretty but it sounds amazing.

I like it a lot so far.....I really like the colors of the display and the controls are pretty simple to use. I haven't had a chance to figure out the time correction settings but when you change them its pretty cool to here the sound stage move around. I used the pocket from the dealer to install it and the only problem is I cannot figure out a way to get the trim ring on around it so its not as clean as I would like ...yet...

yeah i guess i didnt realize that the alpine decks were accually too long to fit flush in our cars. I just called up Crutchfield and thats what they pretty much were telling me, so now im not too thrilled about getting one unles i can find a way to get it to fit well. the deck is like 6.8 inches long and our cars were only meant to fit things shorter than 6.4 or so.

Its really not that bad.... It actually has room to go back more but I have it bolted right up to the stock brackets and that holds it out a bit. I think it still looks pretty good. I will try and get you a piture of what mine looks like this evening.
