#83982, "stock MAP voltage for boost/vac , anyone know?"
i have a 97rs and i made the Adjustable over boost protector using two diodes and a potentimeter and it works fine but what is the exact voltage a map will count as boost? casue i thought it was 4.7 so i set my AOBE to that and it still bucks , so i moved it down to 4.5V and it is fine now but i would like to set it only like .02 volts away from what it need to be. anyone know?

You could try to creep up within .02 volts of it, but there's really no point unless you're trying to pull out every degree of timing you possibly can.
When my stock ECU was still doing fuel, even with a missing link and the diode/resistor trick on the MAP sensor AND the voltage capped off around 4.45 volts, I would STILL get issues around atmospheric. It was really annoying. Oh well, it's not a problem anymore.
