#21541, "S-AFC tuning questions"

Well in about a week and a half I should be picking up my car. I bought an S-AFC and I am getting the 415c injectors from HRC. I am using the cartech FPR which has been actually holding consistent fuel pressure lately. When I first go to drive the car I am not going to be able to boost it since I will be breaking it in. What settings on the AFC should I use when I first drive it so that it runs good. I dont even know how to set the thing but I will learn very soon. I am going to take a crash course in S-AFC setting form some of the local orlando DSM guys. I really need to know what settings to use though. THANKS

There is so much stuff you need to learn when going from stage 2 to stage 3. It gets a lot more complicated with the higher boost levels. I want to learn though!!!

Select pressure, 4 cyl, throttle arrow up. Set LO throttle 1000RPM to like -40% Then you can idle. The rest is up to you

Sounds pretty simple except for "the rest is up to you" part

as for me i also had to lower the sensor pressure from 6in 6out to 4in 4out and for some reason my engine felt stronger and smoother. that's another thing...now that we have 8:6:1 pistons, does this means the configrations that we previously had on the sensor change? everyone who has their AFC have theirs set at either 6in 6out or 7in 7out. and i'm a little confused when adjusting the Hi and Lo throttle setting. i'm not sure if i have mine set correctly. what does this do to the air/fuel mixture?
