god flippidy! just got my headlights so i put them on with the bumper today, the taiwanese bumper fits VERY tight, i had to remove the styro foam that was under for it to fit. the marker light holes are all deformed, and i can see a unusually big gap between the bumper and the fender, jeez, this TDM bumper is no good, but hey $60, what did i expect, i could return it...nah...i gues its nothing a lil bondo cant fix, ill take a look at it tomorrow morning again, tell me if any of you with these kind of bumpers did if u had the same problem!

In my experience most aftermarket reproduction of the original bumper do not fit well. Remanufactured bumbers fit even worse. The problems you described are some of the issues as well as a rough surface and poor edges.
My car has an aftermarket front stock bumper and it actually fits pretty well. I would send it back for a good one. You can get an OEM one off ebay new for 100.00 + shipping 200.00 painted + shipping. Send it back you will regret you didnt later.

When I had my bumper replaced, the body shop used an aftermarket stock bumper, and it fit just as good as stock. Only thing different about this bumper is there is no indentation for the front emblem, but I didn't want that on there anyway.

Just out of curiosity, do you know where they got the bumper from? I may be replacing mine sometime over the summer due to some damage and I had spent some time removing the emblem indentation from the one on there now. I like the look better with the clean front end and it would be a lot easier just to pick one up already like that.

I'm pretty sure they got it from an aftermarket wholesaler like Fenders & More or some place like that. You may want to go to a local body shop and see where they get their aftermarket parts from, because a lot of times those companies won't sell to regular customer.

Typically not, but when you are part owner of a performance and tuning retailer, you can sometimes work something out. I figure its worth a shot, if not I'll see if my body shop can fing it.
I'll have to wait until we have officially launched our site here in a month or so though. We still have to finalize small details and focus on the business end of things for now.
I'll let anyone know what I find if they're interested
