#6078, "Clutch started slipping in 4th and 5th and sometimes 3rd gear"
If im driving, and just cruisin around if i step on it in any of the gears I listed the rpms raise up and then go back down intil it finally grabs. I am going to get another clutch, im thinking the act 2600 and the ACT flywheel. I'm asking you guys if you think that if a pressure plate is not working right that it could not let me shift into 4th gear correctly? Or it goes in then literarly pops back out into neutral only sometimes if im really stepping on it. Let me know what you guys think. thank

sounds like a 4th gear syncro. exact same thing happened to me and i sent it to http://www.shepracing.com to have it rebuilt with GVR4 1st gear. but i thought it was just a 4th gear syncro when i sent it up there but i had some other shit broken in it as well. but if your lucky it's just a 4th gear syncro.

thats what I thought it might be also, but it doesn't do it all the time. Which makes me believe that that might not be the problem. Is there any other possiblites you guys think it might be.

Syncro talk scares me. MY first and Reverse gear are the hardest to get into. I want to believe it is my clutch also. LEt me know how this works oout for you.
