#3978, "Need some help building a reliable 4g63 in the 12's."
Well. I can´t wait anymore so I'm buying a GSX soon after the new year. I'm looking for a 60k mile or less engine. Anyway, I need some help to build a reliable, streetable car that can be taken for a 400 mile trip with no problems (impossible?) and it to be able to run 12's or even high 11´s (with good driving skills).
I've looked and looked and I found many things to buy and upgrade this and that. The market for the 4g is just huge, unlike the the 420A. I just loose focus and start thinking BIG and make the car unstreetable by adding too much of this and that. I just need some help on what to do. I have $10k to spend on parts and labor (brakes, suspension, etc). Thanks for the help

Mine's getting to that point....here are a few things to consider:
Big 16g turbo lightened flywheel remove balance shafts 1g throttle body and ported elbow gasket match exhaust manifold port o2 housing injectors pump s-afc
those are some of the more "damaging" mods I have done to mine. It's not tuned just yet (afc not installed), but I'm told it should be able to do 12's easily
