when blocking off the EGR valve, do you take the valve off or just put a plate under it? if I take it off what do i do with the vacuum lines? hook them together? plug them? Ive got the head off now so i figured id do it now... Thanks ~Luke

I capped the vacuum lines on the TB, and just left the solenoid plugged in. On the top of the Egr (with two nipples at a 90* angle) I just ran a 2" vacuum line and plugged it into itself. The bottom vacuum nipple on the EGR I just capped off.

i know you have to make a plate, but should i just put the plate between the valve and the block, or put the plate in place of the valve and take the valve off. if i do that what do i do with the vacuum hoses?

leave the original valve on but just put the plate between them. Also, just find the sources ofr the vacuum lines and cap them off. Two should be TB i think.
