Blown. Free. Not sure what happened, but I'm going to tear it down tonight and try and find the source of the problem. Let the flaming begin after this statement, because, I'm planning on doing a swap with the 420. If its salvageable I'm planning on rebuilding it to stock specs, and, with the help of some other (experienced) guys, turning an RS into a GST...I know its going to be hard. I, no offense to anyone here, hate the 420A...if I'm getting a free block and free labor, I might as well go for a swap...opinions?

+2 Waste of time and money IMO, have you even read the sticky in the turbo section? I think that would scare anyone away from this

Go for it. You'll probably never drive it again though.

3 months from now we're going to see a "Fuck this stupid shit" post followed shortly after with a "FS - Lots of 420/4G63 stuff" thread.

Good luck, you're going to need it.

LMAO, what a waste of money and time. The ONLY swap worth doing on a 2GNT is the 2.4L. If you want a GST, buy one.

Why do people want to attempt this???

Even if by some luck you did get it to work (which probably won't happen), you would still be slower than a stock internalled 420a-t and have spent thousands of dollars in the process. Have fun wasting money.
