Personally I think the car looks really good. Ive always been a huge fan of shelbys, plus this thing has 475 hp, pretty impressive. I wonder how this will compare to the new 2007 Charger. More info: http://www.autoblog.com/2006/01/08/2007-ford-shelby-gt500/

I think it's pretty freaking sweet.
But one thing that always bothered me on Mustangs were the cheap looking, plastic side mirrors. I love how they're color matched on some of the Cobras of the last model I've seen.

Saw one at the DC car show. Nice but expensive for a Mustang. Probably would take a C6 over it for the $.

Last i heard there was some controversy over the output of the motor. Ford was debating that they would not allow Shelby to create the hp near 500 because the GT40 produces 550 and they dont want any mustangs close to their 500hp car (gt40)

I agree.....the power is great for that car but a bit pricey. I dont know much about the superchargers but 8.5 lbs of boost is all it is putting out according to the article. Just imagine if you upped the boost
