#21900, "17" tire size"

Ive done a search on this, and I keep reading two different things. Everyone either says 215/45/17 or 225/50/17. So what does everyone think? Im planning on lowering my car with a Tokico blue shock and spring set (its like 1.5" drop) with 17x7 rims. Please post pics of either tire size if you have them.

I have 225/45/17 BFG Comp T/A's on my Talon at stock height. The rolling dia. is only .2" different than the original 195/70/14's. You should be able to run that size and drop with no problems.

225/45 is for 8" width. don't use 225's unles your rim is 8" wide or better.

And don't forget about offset. Not enough and you are guaranteed to rub! Too much and you may get tagged for the tires sticking too far out of the wells! As well as looking really STUPID! I think that the stock steel wheel offset is +46. Not sure about the alloy offset though. Could be the same...
