I was just wondering if anyone had pics of 3G rims on a 2G? Also anyone know off hand how much they weigh? I tried searching for old posts but all I could find were pictures that weren't posted anymore

honestly the 3G rims aren't great. they're not much wider then our stock 16's. if you want good performance wheels search on tirerack for rims for a 93 mazda RX7. alot of 16*8's in the selection as well as bangin 17's. only thing is you have to let them know you are putting them on an eclipse so you can get the right hubcentric spacers.

i read somewhere that the 3g rims are heavier than gsx rims. mainly b/c mitsu used a 1 piece design over the 2 piece, and they used a stronger(also heavier) alloy on the 3g's. but that they are stronger(ie: more resistant to bending)if you look, alot of times, the gsx 17s are almost always bent in some way shape or form, same as the avenger/sebring coupe 17s. i think there was a lawsuit about the quality of the 17s and maybe the 16s on the 2g's
