#1812, "Skunk2 Coilover use Eibach Springs?"

Hey, does anyone know if its true that Skunk2 Coilovers use Eibach Springs? Also anyone know the spring rate on these (I have them on my car).

Here's info from MachV site:
>>>This high-quality kit from the company formerly known as "Sk*** W**ks" (some problem with Lockheed and a lawsuit prompted the name change, we hear) features CNC-machined threaded aluminum sleeves with adjustable spring perches, combined with high-quality Eibach springs. The perches use a double-lock ring system for security -- no worrying about set screws backing out.

Yea, i am pretty sure they are Eibach's, but i don't know about the spring rates. Check out http://www.skunk2.com they might have it there.

The skunk2 do not use Eibach springs - I just got a response from them. The front springs are 10 kg/mm, and the conversion is to multiply by about 50 from what they told me, so it would be equivalent to 500 lbs in front, and 400 lbs in the rear since the rear is 8 kg/mm. That is really stiff, isn't it??

Yeah I thought Ground Control was actually affiliated with Eibach.

Just a side note. Skunk Works is the name of Lockheads Research Division for new military planes, that's why there was a problem.
