I was thinking about buying some new wheels and tires, but I dont have a rather extensive budget. So for the wheels I was looking at the 16" Motegi MR7s and the MR8s. I am also looking at the 225/50RZ16 Kumho Ecsta supra 712 tires, but I have head some people recommend the 205's instead of the 225's. Well I would like you input on which rim you like best the MR7 or the MR8, and also the size of tire that you feel would be the best.

Thanks,
Jaso

P.s. I looked these wheels and tires at www.jegs.com

if the rim is 8" wide than go 225. if it's 7" wide go 205 50.

Would it be the same with the 17s because I have seen some people with 205/40/17, but I have also heard that 225/45/17 is the most popular size tire on the 17s.

Also... where are you guys getting your 40 series tires? I can only seem to find 45 series online.

Thanks.

it also depends on what tire size you search for. 215/40 is an odd tire size but 205/40 is very common for people upsizing with aftermarket wheels.
