#1203, "coilovers"

I am looking at what kind of suspension parts i want to buy. I plan on doing some autocross racing. I am looking at springs right now. I want good handling and a low stance. Are maxspeed coilovers good for this?

Thanks.

lowering the car helps improve cornering, but coilovers arent the way to do it unless you want it really low. i used two sets of coilovers and from my experience as well as others, coilovers suck! even the full setup ones. two guys, who are paid on comission mind oyu, both said do not buy coilovers. they had the chance to make mad comission but said not to buy them, they had the HKS and VIS full setups and both hated them. if you are going to get coilovers, the maxspeeds are some of the best out there. i have a set for sale now as well as a set of focuz RS2's. i want $150 shipped for the maxspeeds and $200 shipped for the focuz.

Maxspeed are actually slipovers and the best ones are Skunk2 and Ground Control. The only inexpensive ones I've seen that are good are the Maxspeeds. All I've heard about them are good things. You should get the ones Cyan is selling
