You have to call and make an appointment. If you just show up there is a good chance you will not get in. Not sure how long it takes as I have not had mine done yet.

I just got back from my mitsu dealer. I had to get a key cut. The parts guy said my squeak was my wheel hub bearing. He also said that my car had the ball joints done already. I have an appointment tomorrow to get the wheel hub bearing replaced. The dealer I goto is pretty cool.

i went to the dealer just to check if the ball joints had been replaced yet....they said "haven't been done yet, you mind waiting an hour?" so an hour later i left with new ball joints, no problems and not a penny out of my pocket.

Hey Skinny. What were your symptoms for the wheel bearings? Noises high or low pitched, when they occured etc...? I think my 99's left front wheel bearing is bad at around 50,000 miles. Deep, low groaning sound from wheel area at different times and I already had the recall done too. Any idea on the price for the dealer to do the job?

I think I paid $180 for a new wheel hub bearing at my mitsu dealer.

Find a dealer that gives DSM discounts. I can get that same bearing and hub for $104 all day long. Even if you have to pay for shipping it's still cheaper than buying at full cost.

I found out the problem(actually the guy at mitsu found it.) I was riding on foour lugs, and somehow two of the other ones weren't holding the wheel on. I beleive the wheel was sliding on the studs, making the squeaking sound.
