#628, "can someone answer this front strut problem finally"
i couldnt find it in previous posts, so i am still trying to find out the deal on th efront struts with aftermarket coilovers. i know the front strut spring perches dont have to be grinded off on the koni yellows, but what about other struts, i have also heard that the spring perches only have to be removed on the rear suspension, is this true, or do the fronts have to be removed as well? i am planning on maxspeed coilovers with any shock if they dont need to be cut. if they do i will get the koni yellows. someone let me know. also, what struts have you guys used and what are your thoughts? i dont want the KYBs because of the height increase, but is it all KYBs or just one type of KYB that raises the car? Cant answer you coilover question but AGX stuts raised my front end. The rear was uneffected. It didn't raise the front to beyond what the springs were supposed to lower it but before the struts my 1.3 springs were sitting like sportlines. I'm gonna stick with conventional springs/struts. The pic below is with the AGX struts. As you can see its not exactly lifted. I'm sure coilovers would rememedy that problem anyway.
