So I went to the mecanic(see previous post) and he showed me what he was talking about. When the car is raised off the ground with the lift the springs are completely loose. They just dance around and there is absolutely nothing holding them in place. When the car is put back on the ground, the springs nestle nicely on the coil overs. Is this the way it is supposed to be? My mechanic was worried about the next time I hit a really big pothole or took off a bridge too fast and got some air. The spring would dislodge itself and probably cause some damage. Thought about holding the spring into the top part of the coil over with some twist ties or something. Any ideas??
