hello, i had a question, my cousin just bought eibach pro kit springs and tokico non adjustables i had a import shop put it in... But every time i turn left most of the time that is, and or hit a little bump i hear this clinking noise coming from the rear right side? what could it be? it sounds like the shock or spring is loss? i also have the same set up on my car installed by the same shop my car is fine... one thing is that they did not remove the tire rim when install etc... help me thanks michael

Man, that sounds weird? I don't really know what it is but they should have taken off the wheels so that extra weight wouldn't be pulling the steering linkage down. If I were you, I would take the wheel off and make sure everything is tight and maybe take it back to the shop and have them check the steering linkage. I might also be the upper control arm hitting the inside of the fender well, mine will do that on large bumps. I have the exact same setup, however, I did the install myself so I know everything was done right. Sorry I can't be more helpful and I hope you find out what it is.

Good points by John...

If I may supplement, something else to note. I remember when I did the install, I had to really tighten the top strut bolt in the rear struts particularly like a mofo just so I could elminate any play within the strut between the bumpstops, springs, and everything in-between. Once I achieved a "good fit" without any play, I was happy. But that nut up top of the strut was a lock-nut style if I remember correctly and took some persuasion to torque down.

I can certainly imagine a situation where they didn't tighten that bolt "enough", and there may very well be some play back there within the strut.
