32-40psi is a decent range to stay in
Bill
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

alot depends on the max of the tire..
what your suspension and roads are like more pressure for bad roads to keep from bending wheels less presure on smooth roads.. too much pressure can make your tires bloat and be unstable and explode...
i wouldn't wanna see anything above 45psi ever... (ona under 50seris tire) Bill

I go by what the door says plus like 1-2 psi. so 33-34 psi in teh front and 30-31 psi in teh back. No problems with anything, but I also have 235/40/18 tires so I have a little more room in there

I run 32psi in the front and 36psi in the rear. Also, I dont think it matters how large the tire is, or how much 'room' you have - 35psi will be 35psi wether its in a car tire or a minivan tire. The only reason higher psi would be necessary in larger vehicles is purely because of the weight... I assume that a 225/40 tire with 35psi is equally as inflated as a 235/40 or a 205/55 -- after all, it's not the amount of air in the tire, its the pressure of the air in the tire...
