Here are a few pics of my megasquirt install progess.

Just kidding! Thats the parts car. Real pics are below.

pretty colors

I still have to tie into a stock injector harness and tap into the ECU wires. I'm leaving the fuel pump wires disconnected since the stock ecu can handle that. I will be tuning will an LC-1 wideband. (its in the mail). I'll start by just controlling fuel and add spark once I know what I'm doing. I have a crane ignition to wire in as well. I'm about a week or two away from starting the car. Still have to build a 6an fuel system and have 6an fittings welded onto the stock fuel rail. The MS wiring will have black wire loom. I was just sorting wires.

fun fun!

Looks like you are putting the hours in. One thing I found out is that all that electrical tape is going to turn to goo. It looks great now but you will regret it in the future.

Sweet! Looks a lot like mine did to begin with. I agree w/ Mark that you'll probably regret using the electrical tape down the road. It looks like you wrapped things nice and tight, and if you used 3M tape it will stay on for the most part, it will just leave mess when you have to take it off to modify/troubleshoot something.

It started right up once I changed the tach sig wire. On the diagram it says use the White tach wire from the ECU but actually it needs to be hooked up to the crank sensor wire which is Blue/white! Someone needs to fix that on the wiring diagram so others dont have the same problem. Currently the diagram for our cars has a ??? for the 95 tach signal.

Today I will be tuning!

I used the factory wire diagram to locate the wire on my 95. Tomorrow I'll take a look which wire it was.

Ok, Now I'm lost. Any help so I can drive this thing to the shootout?

Car is running rich. I've tried changing the Q and W in the megasquirt tuning w/ the green ball. Still cant lean it out. Do you normally use this or use megalog?

I recorded a log for a few minutes w/ the car at idle and a few slow revs to 1500. Can you take a look and suggest what to do? This is a base map that I'm trying to tune from.

I've played w/ megalog and opened my logs and msq files. I've tried the VE analyzer and didnt notice much difference.

what to do, what to do? Can anyone help design a VE table?

Also, my coolant is in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Dunno why.

I changed my AFR Targets for the VE table to match this table from ner947

Now I'm on autotune. Seems to be working.

I changed the settings to change everything >80kPa and at 10%.

We'll see what happens.
