#2403, "tuning with the emanage"

i am helping a friend tune his 95 gs. it has the hahn racecraft turbo kit (preferably i dont like), aeromotive rrfpr, 310cc injectors, and various other things. i am currently trying to get the emanage to tune it, but not doing too great but have it wired. i did however find that ignition control is out on these?? everything seems to be going good, but im running blanks on the rotary setting for the airflow. i dont know equivalents to the type of map it has, so i just tried the toyota settings (4-0,4-1,4-2) but still doesnt seem to work. with the large selection of choices, i just am lost as to what to set it at.

i have pulled 2 all nighters to get it up, after many problems with the laptop, we had it running again but shortly after the emanage just flashes red. i have traced the map, i set the throttle, set parameters, etc., but i still cant get with these rotary dials!!!! all jumpers are correct, but someone PLEASE!! help me if possible fill in my last 2 settings! 3-?-?, i spent most of 1 day trying to find wiring diagrams for the vehicle, but in the end had to figure it out myself (then later in the day after it was done found a diagram and double checked myself). but map signal is up and so is throttle, just need those stupid rotary settings!!!!!!!!! thanks, if anyone can help.

HAHAHAAAaaaaaaaaaaaa,
seriously, search man, 38A or 3C1, ignition don't work unless you have an external ignitor pack. If you took months to tune the emanage and still didn't get it to work, you don't know what you are doing. I have had the emanage in my car for years now running 18 psi daily driven. so don't knock it just becasue you can't work it.

Yeah, I fianlly just sold mine. I have a MSnS on it's way later this week. I had mine running daily driven fine for a while. I had one bad pass on it and destroyed my forged pistons. Hmm, maybe when it's running awkward as you shift full throttel into 4th, you pull out..You can get it to work, jusst stick with it. I would have to pull up my old maps to see what I had on it. I got like almost 400 for the sucker when I sold it. It seemed like to me that it had a sligfht delay when it added fuel whcih caused detonations if you were relying on the fuel, then when it kicked in, I had too much fuel. More fine tuning I guess.

38A I think is what I was running. If you call Greddy, they don't even know what motor the na has in it! You also need to set your internal jumpers to having vtec or it will throw a code at you. I know BigRand on this forum and dsmtuners is still running it right now. You might try contacting him for more of his info. I think his motor might be messed up too from it and lack of tuning. He had a shop working on it and I don't think it came out too well.

MS baby-

Fully Built MS powered 99' GS Sport, Garrett T3/T04e 60 trim with one big ass intercooler!

Yeah, she runs...sorta!

so BigRand is probably the only person who knows the rotary settings? ive got the car running, after the ignition thing which i figured out after 2 minutes from the intial start up. i dont care about the ignition though, i just want to get it running fine.

it does throw a code 18, which ive found isnt a listed code? im stumped on that one. but it needs to have the jumpers set to vtec? strange, but will do.

also, will the anti engine stall setting help rough idle? his car is idling like it has some harsh cams or cam timing is off. rpms jump around from 800-950. just curious to that. now about the injectors, when i logged them, it was showing them running at like 4% duty cycle at idle. i thought that was messed up. i do not have the injector ground tapped into as some have said it can cause issues.

i will probably update in a couple weeks, as i wasnt able to mess with it yesterday since he had to work early.
