I just got a 98 spyder. Will a Cold Air Intake for a 95 RS fit on the 98 Sypder? Thanks.

Thanks, Brandon

The N/T Spyder has a Mitsubishi 4G63 engine (2.4L) and has very little to nothing in common to the Chyrsler 420A.

What if it's the turbo spyder?
Then you will have the 4g63!
Oh, that has nothing in common either...

Technically it would fit, but he'd need access to a Makita Angle Grinder and a good TIG welder

i really think most of his questions were answered in his other post of the same day

http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=83397&mode=full

The Spyder doesn't even share a platform, let alone engine with the RS/GS models, buy new stuff and have fun with it!

No no, you were right. The 2.4 is the 4g64 motor. The turbo is the 4g63 2.0 Liter. 97 Eclipse97 was incorrect, not you.

Huh? Are you saying you is me? I know I was incorrect, hence why I said "Crap, I definitely thought I wrote 4g64". I know all about the differences between DSM's, 4g63's, 4g64's, 420A's, etc, etc. I just hit the 3 key instead of the 4 (stupid laptop not having the number pad). Anyways, I think the N/T Spyder question has been answered enough times (especially in the last week) that it should not come up again.
