Im doing the timing belt and putting in a new transmission, and i figured while i have the motor out ill try to fix my oil leak too. Well i can't quite tell where its leaking from. i assumed it was the head gasket but it looks pretty clean. Any thoughts?

Odd. I believe I have an oil leak from my crank angle sensor and it seems like it is all over the lower engine like that. I shouldve just put a new sensor on in the first place but hey I was trying to save money lol I may just try to pop a new Oring on it cuz the one on it is shot.

replace all seals, if you have the money. can't pinpoint it, but looks a little wet on the rear main, and also on ur crank sensor. did you do an oil dye test before removing the motor?

didn't do an oil dye test. I got a rear main, and oil pan gasket, and i took the crank sensor out to check the o-ring on it which didn't look bad, but i did find a small crack on the sensor and a chip taken off of the side of it. I don't know if i should just go get a new one or if it will be fine. pics below.

I'd just get a new one. My cam seal is leaking very slightly--not enough for me to fix tho lol

It looks like your oil pressure sending unit is leaking as well.

Yup (Dan, don't live in denial, its not healthy)

I see three spots oil pressure sending unit, crank sensor and rear main seal.
