I done a search but what I can't find is where it's located, the Clutch Fluid Reservior. Well, let's get to my problem first.

I read some post that my clutch fluid maybe leaking. I have to FLOOR the clutch to shift to neutral. And clutch twice, stepping down on the clutch to the max, to get it to gear. I thought a cap maybe labelled so I can tell what containers they were.

I read something about DOT 3. I found this fairly good size container that has something like "...Use DOT 3 or DOT 4... " and close to it (closer to the top corner), there's a MUCH smaller container. From memory, looks like the size of a roll of quarters (maybe bigger). That container looks completely dried. Rather than pouring fluid into it, I kind of want to know exactly what I'm doing before doing so.

Well, I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but any help is most appreciated. Thanks...

Yep, thats it. If its empty chances are your going to have air in the lines. refill and bleed properly!

but why is it empty? if it leakin u will have to replace it. to find out if it is leakin check inside the car above the clutch pedal, if u see fluid there or traces of it chances are ur slave cylinder is bad. if u got no leaks there then go inside the engine bay and look around the slave cylinder for leakin fluid then trace the line to the trany and check for leaks.
if u don't have any leaks bleed the system and ur done.
later
"Z"
i have gone through two slave cylinders since i bought the car.

thanx all, well, i did buy the fluid, put some in. found that there's fluid around the clutch area above the pedal. I guess i'll have to find out how to fix that. I remember reading something here on these forums. But yea, it still requires me to clutch twice here and there. Earlier, it wouldn't even let me shift to first when i was at work, until i added the fluid.

Well, when i get home (drove the car home and took bro's car to go back to work, live only like 3 minutes away ), i'll investigate some more and then see what I'll have to do.

thanx alot...

Apparently it has been told to me that it's my cylinder darn, so I don't want to get ripped off or anything. How much would it take to have someone replace it? A quick price range would be nice because, yea, if i knew how to do it myself... but sucks to be me.

Thanx...
