Hey guys, I don't know how many of you remember wat this intake manifold did for the neon that just came out but it was like 50 whp greater than the stock intake manifold and 25 whp at the peak greater. Well I called the guys that design this thing for the neon... the website is indyheads.com... This is our chance to get a kick-ass product for 420a nt or guys with a turbo setup! I know alot of guys here are in college and watnot but they said if we could get 20 people serous enough to shell out 500 bucks for this thing he would be intereseted in making it.

Think about it 25 more whp to the peak.... for u guys that already have an aem cai and are about to shell out another 300 bucks for v2, i would like you to serously consider this drag manifold for our cars. A redesigned cai will give u wat 5 more whp if that? This product is tested with a dyno, and its amazing and gives far more than 5whp.

The stock neon intake manifold is crap but I am lead to believe that ours is pretty similar so we could see similar results. I am going to start a list for a group buy.... and then we can organize something to get production to start. whos in????

I spoke to the guy at Indy Heads also, and he said that we would see very similar gains

if you can put a true Helmholtz resonating tuned intake into our cars - we would all be VERY interested. I personally would like as much information as possible in regards to the Neon 420a Indy manifold, AKA what they did to improve flow as well as dyno's. do you have the link to the 25 WHP info?

I have no doubt we would see worthwhile gains, but I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing neon-like results. Their (neon) intake manifold has a fairly sharp turn and it necks down fairly well. By changing those, they can get significant flow improvements. Our intakes are not ideal, but their not quite as restrictive as neons IMO.

Not saying I wouldn't be interested, but just didn't want anyone to set their expectations too high.

The design for the neon may be more flawed then ours, and u guys do bring up some good points and I think achieving 100% of what it did for their cars may not be entirely reachble. However I think this could give us a great option, to remove all the design flaws on our intake. Getting a honed extrude intake mani runs wat 375 + core which is over 500 bucks. I would love to see us have somethine like this to select from.

It would take me a couple months to come up with the cash but I am sure it would take at least that for the design and build.
