Yeah, ran her at LVD. Too bad the Shoot Out got cancelled 'cause I would have done it there with a lower time (better track). First run. That's usually a slow run. Unfortunately, I broke on the second run. Shifted into second and got nothing. Got her stuck in third and still ran a 14.711 @ 97.26, hehe. Smoked my clutch getting her back on the car trailer.

Ran with the OBX intake on but didn't change the tune, so it really didn't matter. Can't wait to get a real intake on there and get her tuned. I probably need a better exhaust header, as well.

So now we're in the 13.8's.

Damn Mark, you continue to amaze. Quicker et with a lower trap speed. I can't wait to watch you run at mitsu day. Is this with the obx intake or the stocker?

Thanks Corey. I'm hoping to have a nice intake and good tune on her by Mitsu Day. But it's coming up quick so I hope the intake that's being made is here soon so I can find time to tune. I couldn't even street tune with the OBX because it was raining the night I put it on and I was racing the next night. You could see from my trap time, I didn't seem to gain top end. But, as I said, the first run all parts aren't warmed up and loosey-goosey, so I wish I could have gotten in the second run.

It's funny how now I drop her a tenth and it doesn't mean so much because I know I got a lot more to pull out of the engine.

I know what you mean, I'm not gonna get a chance to pull my head until labor day b/c I'm in Florida until next weekend for work Then I gotta decide whether I'm gonna have someone fix the head for me and replace the valves (which I'm still pretty much just assuming are bent) or pull the one off the new avenger at the local junk yard have it checked out and then put it on.

But isn't it nice to know there's a lot more in it

Um.....geez, I don't know what to say, guys. Thanks for the kudos. I mean I basically stole all of Brian's ideas anyway .

Seriously, appreciate the support guys. It does help to keep me going. I am hoping it helps others to keep their cars going.

The stuff I'm looking at next is going to hopefully help the turbo guys also. I thought I finally got someone to make an intake (I have three locals who all want to do it - for nothing - and that's what I have gotten. Nothing). I found a very talented guy who has done numerous other intakes and his work is very, very good. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from him in a little while and I'm wondering if he is going to work out like my other "buddies".

Then the LTH; I've got a plan and dimensions etc. but haven't found the right people to make it up.

Eh, oh well, in time. And Driggs, 12's? Now your really dreamin' (but I said that to you about 13's also )

Thanks again.
