Just wondering if ne1 does the above or has interest in it. I don't go on the racing forum often and I decided to peep it out and all I see is this vs this or 1/4 miles this and 1/4 mile that.

I have auto-x'd 2 out of the last 3 years. Spent all my free time tuning my car at the strip this past summer, but I'll be doing the auto-x thing again next year. I would love to go road racing, but I'm skeered to ding up my car.

I do autocross once in a while. Not too often but it is something I do at least a couple of times a year.
Also, since I help out with a college Formula SAE team, (cars built specifically for autocross, using 600cc motorcycle engines typically and weighing in less than 500 lbs.) autocross is something I keep up with on a regular basis. There just are not many people to talk about it here

I would like to get into road racing. I just don't know anywhere around here that holds events for something like that. We have auto-xing up here from time to time. I haven't ran the course yet but it looks like fun.

I'd really love to go into a driving school to learn how to better handle my car, how to take turns properly, when to brake and how to shift before a turn, etc etc. I can't seem to find anything in the pennsylvania area to take a course though.
If anything, i'm going to try to take a weekend course at the BMW driving school in south carolina (i think it's SC) during the summer. Driving M cars all day? gotta be fun.
