Does JL make a 0.5 or 1 farhad cap? Or any cap for that matter? I have a full JL setup and wanted to get the matching cap. If not who makes a good cap? Thanks

Unless you plan on showing off more then the the top of your cap, it doesn't matter what brand you get. I have a generic one that amazingly comes from the same ppl that make them for Lightning, Phoenix Gold and Rockford. Those all run alot of omney for a 1.2 farad. I paid all of 49 bucks plus shipping for it. It's up to you though. If you want something flashy then by all means go with a brand name. Just know that they all come from pretty much the same place and if you not into flash you can get 2 or 3 for the price of one brand name.If you wanna go pure stealth, you can always order the generic one and put a sticker on it and nobody will know the difference...LOL

I kind of like flash and I am setting up a fiberglass box to house 2 JL 12w3's in the back corners and a false bottom to hold 2 more w/ neons and then building a amp rack for 2 JL 500/1's and the caps so I would like them to look decent. So lightning audio is a good one? I have a 1 farhad LA cap I have had for a while but wasn't sure if it was one of the good ones. NEWay how does the hatch handle up against 4 12's. Anybody know? holy shit ...uhhh well when i had my 3 w3 12" in there the fuckin hatch was flexin hard....depends on the setup. i like a combo of 3 instead of 2 or 4...JMO. i sold my 3 w3 12"s and now have 3 rockford hx2 12's and a power bd1000 rockford amp. i had a lightning audio 1farat cap and it was nice. i just got my rockford digital cap (1 farat) and it is nice also. it goes with the amp and it has a cool digital readout. too bad i dont have it hooked up yet...trying to make a custom box for them. i would get 2 1 farat lightning audio caps...they are nice like i said.

why not get a generic one and put a jl logo on it?
if you're mostly doing this for show then all those subs is fine, if you want it to sound good, chances are you'll be running into cancellation probs w/ subs all over the place like that
even w/ one sub you're gonna get rattling, i suggest you take out those rear panels and do a LOT Oof sounddamping.
there's a vent to the passenger side corner, make sure you take care of that, it flaps and makes hella noise

I have already got the inside quarters out for molding of the box. I have already lined the rear w/ dynomat all around and was thinking about doing the rest of the car but I don't want to add too much weight. How much does that stuff weigh any how?
