Car topped out at 160 today, think I'm gonna to grab 2 bottles of NOS for the shootout.

Ok ok, I have installed a turbo... or so it sounds, and may sound like at the shootout, unless by some miracle I find time to fix this vacuum leak. So happy and time stressed about the SO being closer and closer.

I made the mistake of the first year I was going to attend getting so worried and jacked up about getting my car ready and being able to drive it to the SO (was doing a full rebuild at the time). I was so caught up in it that I made the decision that I couldn't go if I didn't have my car ready.

I know its a little different with you since I believe you were intending to race...but if the car can't make it...you should still find a way to be there.

I am going and racing regardless =P. I have a few problems, hopefully will get them addressed in time, if not, they are not detrimental to the performance. The vac leak doesn't seem to effect anything, except for the fake turbo whistle sound, may also be affecting idle slightly, but since I have gotten crower 2's, I've gotten use to erratic idle.

Eric, I will be heading to Oak Brook after the Shootout is over. I have class there starting 7am Monday morning. Unfortunately, I will be cutting out after the races on Sunday.

We are actually starting as far east in IL as you possibly can (I live right on Lake Michigan). However, you can meet us along the way, or at my house, if you'd like.

Well I did spend about 3 hours of my monday work day removing the spare tire holder thing in the trunk. Plan on spending a good 2-3 hours of work today sanding and bondoing my dents =P.

Some may remeber of me, most likely not.
However I just wanted to say to be on the lookout for another 2gnt out there.
After 2+ years of being "down"- I managed to take time off work and put mine together this week. It still needs some last minute wiring and a tune. But it should be out there whether I flatbed it in or drive it.

The sig pic is more than 5years old... the car looks a bit different now... oh and it has a 70mm turbo to boot... ;)
