Where is most of Team 2gnt Staying for the 17th annual Shootout? I have been looking at old threads for the shootout and it looks like the hotels get packed quick. I want to throw down on a hotel with a group so it can be cheap and i get to know my fellow 2g'ers. This will be my first and I will not miss it for anything so i want to get this done with asap.

Where is the shootout even at? If I go this would be my first also. Is there anyone that is going from SoCal? And also when is it?

I don't think a lot of SoCal guys make it out. It's in Ohio, about an hour west of Cleveland, just south of Lake Erie. I'm in Phoenix and I've yet to drive there. Would be nice, though.
I think it's still a bit early to figure out rooms, but Amerihost has been kind to us in previous years, so that might be the place to book. Reserve the rooms now and cancel later on if you don't need them.

it's never too early. i used to book in december.
i'll probly wait a few more months before i even consider it though.
i'm figuring the amerihost as well. we'll see how it pans out.

Me, My girlfriend, and my GFs brother are going this year. I live in Ashtabula, so lucky for us its only like 2 hours driving time. Last year me and a fellow DSM buddy got to Buschurs shop at about 7, we were the 2nd and 3rd people there. I should book rooms soon too, I cant wait to go back.
Hopefully this year I wont take a flatbed home...

Anyone from Nebraska going? i want to but I don't know if I can afford to go having to pay for gas by myself. If I do I'm going to take my car but not race. Sounds like a fun time though. I want to go I'll see were i am on money in about a month.

I just booked a room at the econo lodge. $128 for fri, sat. and $49 for sun.
