I just did some shopping around the area on Hotels.com. Called up the Norwalk Inn and they're asking $95/night plus tax for the entire weekend. Recently remodeled. Huge parking lot. BK right next door. Closer to the late-night liquor store.

I'm seriously considering the Norwalk Inn this year. Anyone else?

Pretty righteous price. I stayed outside at Super 8 in Milan (with some other CT guys across the street at Comfort Inn) and paid right around that.

wherever it is, we need to keep all of the 2gnt people in the same place. last year a bunch of people were spread out all over. :\

I havnt been there before, and dont really know anyone but ill be coming with atleast another person this year so if all the other 2gnt people are staying here, then so will I.

i stayed there my first year, it was ok but there werent a ton of people. i will only commit to this if the main crew is gonna stay there, that is the whole point to hang out with you peoples.

I tried to make a res Friday and was told they aren't accepting reservations until January for that far out. I will be trying again before that time just in case. Will post up when I have a room booked.

I looked for a website for the hotel, but couldnt find one. Right now im thinking though, im going to be making the 10 hour drive with some people, its basically my graduation present to myself so i dont want just an okay hotel. Sence i didnt find a website maby people who have stayed there before can help. Does this have an indoor hot tub, im serious. if it doesnt have an indoor hottub or indoor swimming pool then i will be seriously dissipointed. Im willing to spend a bit more to find a place that does have one haha. And does anyone by any chance know the age limite to get a hotel in the states? I hope 18 is old enough.

Pretty sure 18 with a valid credit/debit (As long as it carries the Visa or MC stamp) card is good enough.

Well thats pretty dissipointing haha. Atleast i learned it now though.

Allright, story time; the Super 8 I went to had a jacuzzi bath in the room. It actually was located between the bathroom and the bedroom/living area (there was no wall between the bathroom and the bedroom living area. The jacuzzi acted as the wall. Kinda yucky IMO).
The wife wanted a little bubble with her jacuzzi, so knowing what was going to happen, I told her to go ahead and knock herself out. She put the bubbles in there and when she came back from getting ice the bubbles had filled up the bath, the bathroom and reached across the floor to the bed. She freaked, I laughed and.........this story isn't as funny as being there, huh?

Anyway, it was funny shit at the time.

Yeah just like last year, classes start on Monday. Except this time, my new lease starts on Saturday. So thanks to the SO, I'm gonna be homeless for a few days. I'm just not gonna move until I get back, lol.

We need to re-organize. Norwalk Inn reports fully booked as of tonight.

The usual hotels are reporting under $140/night on Orbitz. Do we trust that? Also, Comfort Inn in Milan is less than a mile from the Best Western. Reporting $120/night.

Let's get this figured out and book NOW.

Through which site? I pulled it up on Orbitz and was seeing $139/night for 2 people. I was going to see if they had any kind of clause guaranteeing the room (is that Travelocity?), but it was getting late and I had to be up early this morning.

What about staying up the road in Milan? Comfort in or something is still on Milan Ave, but it's 11020 Milan vs 315/415 like the Big Rape and All American.

since the norwalk inn is out, we have made the decision to stay at the all american inn again this year. prices are about the same as last year. there are quite a few poeple looking to split rooms so if you want a roomy to save cash, post in here.
