hey, ive been looking into it latly and i guess i could post in the 2007 shootout forums, but OT seemed approperate too. Sence its my last year of highschool now, it would be a pretty awesome trip for to do, but is it going to still be in Norwalk Ohio? I looked up and it would take about 10 hours of driving to get there from ottawa, canada and that really isnt to bad. The thing is, that because of my age, i cant drink in the states, so that would take some of the fun out of it, and i wouldnt want to race. because id loose and probably break my car. So would it be worth it, to go down(i think it would, because of the amount of awesome DSM's) Id probably get a few friends from here and drive down in my talon, and possibly plan with some other people driving from around here so we could get a small group of people driving down. Are there any people from quebec/ottawa or anything that drive down? What else really happens at the shootouts, because i havnt looked into any other year because i knew i couldnt go. i guess thats my main question, well that and when it is.

If you can make it, great! But it's entirely up to you. Very few of the 2gnt crowd actually race. We just hang out, go to the open house on satruday...a few sometimes dyno their car. And then we watch the racing on Sunday. It's a good time.

Thats awesome, im not even going to lie, i would have liked to see that. and yeah i know no one ever drinks underage in the states haha.. I just mean i cant drink in the bars, and i cant bring alochol across the border so it might be a challange to get.

Usually we just get a shit ton of money together and run to the liquor store for everyone, and we get pretty fucked up drinking the community alcohol. What we need this year is a beer tub girl!! Jen, you want to volunteer?

Heh heh, the Crazy Canadians. Yeah, group came down this year (both times). As a matter of fact Serge (?) had a pretty hot 8 second auto Mirage. Cool stuff.

I don't drink, don't drug and I'm old enough to be your dad, but I still had a great time there (11 hr trip - wife was with me). Hell, I didn't even hook up with any 2gnt'ers first time (though I literally called them out at Buscher's).

It's about the comraderie of a common interest. The conversation comes easy because of that (the crazy shit comes later on at night)
