99750, TURBOX RFL BOV Shutter sound? Posted by turbosrule, Apr-16-07 04:35 PM
Ive got the RFL BOV and it used to have a real strong WOOOSSHH sound.
Now it has this annoying shutter sound. Like instead of one fast snap open and close it flutters,, I've since installed some of the supplied washers (to stiffen the spring pressure) to no avail...any ideas!
Thanks!

How much boost are you currently running? I thought when it would studder like that, it meant it is too tight?

Loosen up the bov, its too tight so its causing compressor surge.

there might be a leak in your vac source to the bov also, causing it to not open like it should leading to compressor surge
