I have finished everything for my turbo setup...besides the exhuast from the turbo out...now then... What would you recommend I do? What do you have? and how much should I expect to spend on it? I pretty sure I'll only have to pay for materials but just in case. HEres what I have...
garrett T3/t4 turbo with internal wastgate(stage 3 I guess)
equal length manifold
FMIC
2 1/2" IC piping
HKS ssqv
Walbro 255 lph high pressure
12:1 FMU(will upgrade to SFMU once I can afford it)

thats all I can think of... I know the car is running fine but very loud I'm only pushing about 6 psi and thats as much until I biuld a motor. let me know.

I have 3" from the turbo back without a cat (test pipe), and I love it.

So.... you have been running the car at 6 psi with no downpipe whatsoever on the car? Or did I read it wrong?

i have a full 3" except for the the 1 foot of 2.5" off the turbo

I havent hit boost yet....I just started the car to make sure the fuel system and oil lines and whatnots were working properly I never let it boost up...I riased the RPM to 2000 and let out. when I said I'm only running 6 psi I meant thats what its all supposed to be set to..I'm going to take it to a local shop(Alternative Motorsports) and have them check everything and make sure before I let it hit boost. I'm just tryng to get suggestions on what exhuast to get before I go to the shop

I would advise not to drive the car with any sort of downpipe on it as the hot exhaust will probably start to melt things if you have it running for very long. Have it towed to an exhaust shop.

yeah I'm not stupid...I'm going to trailer it until I know everything is in the okay not just exhuast...I'm going to have everything checked out before I boost it up. but I need to know what everyone else paid for there exhuast so I dont drive all the way to the shop and not have enough money to finish

It can range. I've seen 50 bucks if you brought your own piping to upwards of $250. Best thing to do is shop around and explain to the places what you need done and an estimate.

well see I'm getting it done for the price of materials only...but I want to pay this guy full price becuase he's hooked me a up a ton on this project...so I was just tryng to pay him back for all the help

im buying a custom 3inch with a apexi fartcan 250 for the whole thing and its off a gst.

I have one of my 3 DP's on mine, going to a 2.5 inch exhaust with a resonator and resonator type muffler. Sounds like ass, I love it. Once day ill get my ass in gear and finish my 3 inch back, i have tons of straight 3in in the garage. :/

does anyone happen to have audio/video of there exhuast so I can get an idea of sound, I dont want it to sound raspy!!! I'm also putting an electronic cutout on it any suggestions where to put it? I thought of putting it straight down from where the downpipe curves under the car

If your turbo, basically no exhaust is raspy. I've had my turbo put on with a stock exhaust, stock piping and different muffler, and stock piping, different muffler, and test pipe and no rasp whatsoever. You only really need to worry about raspiness when you are NA.

Most people put the cutouts right after the downpipe curves, before the cat.

thats good to know... my next and final question concerns looks...I dont want exhuast thats going to burn your leg if you dont watch out and I want something thats not going to be hellashish loud(only at open throttle and not so loud then either) what would be the best route...so far I'm going to be running 3" from the turbo back w/cutout?

I never had to worry about burning my leg on exhaust before, but a 3 in. turbo back exhaust should be plenty loud IMO. Not unbearable, but still loud. The turbo does make it a bit quieter compared to the same exhaust run on an NA motor. Are you purchasing (or did you purchase) a exhaust system or are you having the exhaust custom made? If you are having one custom made, tell them to maybe throw on a couple resonators to keep the tone down a little bit.

Most people go with an N1 style muffler. Try eBay and see if you can find some under $100. Mine costed $60 or so like 3 years ago and is a Vibrant Performance one.

yeah I've already searched there...thats all they have though is the N1 style pretty much...I currenty have a hayame that I got about 4 years ago when hayame was still making exhuast. I love it but it wont fit 3"
