hi, i was looking at this manual boost controller, can someone tell me if this will be good thing for 99gs with big 16g

Hallman makes very good boost controllers, but I don't know if I could justify paying almost 200 for a MBC. What size wastegate do you have and how much do you plan on boosting up to? If you just want to raise it a couple psi, a $20 eBay boost controller will do the job just fine. If you plan boosting a lot more than your wastegate's preset limit, I would invest in a little better one like a Hallman or TurboXS on eBay. They usually run around 50-60 bucks. I have a 3 psi spring in my wastegate and use an eBay boost controller to bring it up to 8 and around 6-8 it get's a little sketchy (needle jumping between 6-8) so I'm sure a better boost controller would help with that.

i'm looking around 10psi so what do you suggest.about wastegate i have one that comes on 16g, i guess its stock

What size wastegate do you have. I would think just a cheap eBay one would be fine.

I think if you're going to spend that much, you might as well just get an EBC
