Ok i just installed it and i have the harness. when i turn the key to "acc" it stays running but when i turn it to "off" and pull the key out the car dies and the gauge pod still works but the tt keeps counting down.

I need some more info on this one. I get that if you turn the key to acc the turbo timer works as it should, but when you turn to off and pull the key the car dies, and the tt is still counting. Is that correct? What do you mean with the guage pod here?

yes that is correct. The temp gauge still works. its like the car stalls out and dies.

Did you connect the right wires for the harness and TT? Make sure none are shorting out on something also.

yes i connected the right wires and no shorts

Did you buy it new or used? Maybe if it was used it's broke?

maybe a loose xonnection on the ebrake ?

So when you go one notch down from the "ON" position to the "ACC" position, the TT activates and still keeps the car running but when you turn the key past the ACC position the car no longer stays running by the sole power of the TT? Well, whichever wire(s) is energized when the key is in the acc position doesn't seem to be getting any juice from the TT when it activates. These are the wire colors one of my programs lists at the ignition harness coming off of the key cylinder so maybe you can troubleshoot it with a volt meter and see what wire isn't getting juice from the TT's harness when the TT is activated.

Constant 12v+ = WHITE
Accessory = BLUE
Ignition #1 = BLACK/WHITE
Ignition #2 = BLUE/BLACK
Neutral Safety = BLACK/YELLOW (don't know if this one is needed)
