To start ill be running S-FMU.

My goal is to get around 10 psi daily and 15 psi on race. (Built block / OEM Head)

I know 440 is plenty enough but I want a better idle... I was thinking at 370cc or 390cc. I read tons of injectors post but never answer my primary questions... Is all High impedance Injectors work in our cars ???

Just to be sure... also, I think accel and RC are the "same" injectors quality right ? and they are better than fort because they are able to flow well at lower fuel pressure ?

I would run 440's if I were you. Buy them Aggression is the FS section, he is selling a set for dirt cheap.

Also, your idle will be fine w/ 440's if you have a SFMU. Just set your idle pressure to around 18-22psi and you will be smooth. I know because I used to have 440's.

when you say smooth, its like smooth when I was NA ? I think Agression is selling ford one.... and ive read they are poor at low fuel pression... Im a little confused.

I ran 440's at 20psi idle pressure and it was a smooth idle, it was not lumpy or anything. In fact, it was 14.7 a/f at idle, which is very very good.

The ones that Aggression is selling are the same ones I used. I sold them to him and noe he is selling them because he got larger injectors. But those and you will be good to go.

When you were not under boost, did you get poor mph ? More difficult to tune 440CC ?... I dont have S-AFC but have egt. Also will get wideband at the same time and will connect the zeitronix to laptop to watch the first week.

If your going to upgrade to larger injectors, your going to see less gas mileage anyway, no matter the size really. It just wont be AS noticable with a bit smaller like 390's.

But I would have to say, gas mileage was NOT that bad at all really with the 440's.

Just get 440's. You will be happy.

Yep, you will probably need to get a Fuel Pressure gauge of some sort (underhood) so you know where to adjust the pressure for idle and what not.

1) Gas Mileage and Turbos do not belong in the same sentence unless you're talking about Diesel and Volkswagens. If you want a "gas sipper" buy a Sheeplemover.

2) Any "Universal Bosch" High Impedance (as the ones in your link were labeled) will generally fit. However, there are www.members.lycos.co.uk/maxboost/docs/Bosch_Injector_Applications.pdf in Bosch applications, so do your homework, or copy off someone else.

3) Ford, Accel, and RC all make hi-imp bosch injectors.

4) The more money you spend the better. The Fords are obviously the cheapest, and compared to higher end Accel/RC injectors, they seem to have a slightly inferior spray pattern below 43psi. This doesn't mean a shitty idle, it means poor off-boost performance and general minor weirdness until the injector is brought up to at least 15psi where it can establish a decent spray pattern.

5) Get the biggest injector your engine can maintain an idle with. 440 is a minimum for 15psi on pump gas IMO. There's a lot of mixture variables in using race gas so even then, I wouldn't mess around with bare minimum injectors like 370cc.

6) Yes, you can do 15 psi and ~280hp on 93 octane using nothing more than an EGT, boost controller, and SFMU. It's smart to be more careful though, especially if you're new to tuning an SFMU.

I got 38mpg on the highway w/ DSM 450's and a safc. 30mpg stock on the highway (not boosted). No current figures for the 8-injector yet, 450 secondaries and stock primaries. I don't know what you think but I know it is possible to get better mileage with turbo than NA, it is just a matter of keeping your foot out of it and proper tuning.

Ok ill listen you and buy some 440CC. As for the tuning with sfmu its a new thing for me but ill not start at 15 psi and for sure ill continue to read lot of stuff before starting.

I agree, but choosing the size of injectors to give better MPG is irrelevent.

And what fun is having a turbo if you keep your foot out of it? :D

In fact, im not afraid of bad MPG... it was more about the idle. I think its the good choice with 440cc ill be more on the safe side .
