Alright i just installed/fabbed up my turbo setup on my car. For some reason im leaking fuel out of my fuel rail. This is where the question of the vacuum lines. the vacuum line that comes from the fuel rail to the like big air reservoir thing, back to the intake manifold.

i removed the reservoir and ran a straight vacuum line from the intake to the fuel rail, is this totally wrong? why is there fuel coming out of it. The car otherwise is fine, it was idling well and had a good vacuum on my boost guage. any thoughts?


also a queston on the side, i ran out of vacuum hose tonight and ran my wastegate and bov off of the barb fitting coming off my turbo, is this alright, or should i hook all of it up to the intake manifold.

are yserious or just joking . you have a vac line from your rail straight to the intake manifold ? well then it wouldnt be a vac line it would be a fuel line wouldnt it ? also u can leave the wastegate on the turbo and move the bov to the intake manifold

well thats where it was when it was N/A ...where the heck do i put it. it ran fine i dunno how i didint blow up. do i just plug it off? i thought there was a fuel regulator built in. my car is a 95. please help me out. im hoping you misunderstood the fuel line is still on the rail i never touched it, its on the passenger side of the rail i swear its the regulator. but why is fuel coming out of the son-of-a-gun.

Yeah....you need to DISABLE the stock FPR on a '95, not remove it completely. Holy hell if I'm picturing what you have right now, you are POORING fuel into your intake manifold. If you are driving your car...stop! It's a major fire hazzard. I'm suprised you have blown that vac line and sprayed fuel all over the engine bay.

I'll try to look up the info for you in a bit, but I'm busy at work. Try the search fuction at the top and look for disable FPR or something.

thanks man. it started leaking cuz i was idling in my garage then the car was shutdown, once gas was noticed. I never heard that you have to diasable the stock one till now? If thats the case i doubt my car is going to run this week then. I was thinking the orings on the regulator that goes into the fuel rail might be leaking. But with the turbo gas is pushed out of the regulator?

If you're using an SFMU, you ned to disable the stock regulator. if you're using a static rate-of-gain FMU, then you do not touch the factory regulator.

Where on the fuel rail is the fuel coming from? That's important to know. Ity could be as simple as needing an extra clamp on the return barb, or replacing an o-ring on the feed line.

On 95's the fuel regulator has a vacuum port on it, he's not putting any fuel in his manifold. He's just getting a vacuum signal.

I guess I'm confused by the term "reservoir". I thought he was talking about the actual FPR. And then he somehow ran a line from where the stock FPR was back to the intake manifold. Under that assumption, I figured he was educated enough to have a supplemental FMU.

My mistake, I guess I should have got more clarification.

So let me get this straight...there is a vacuum tank in that "circuit" like the one for cruise control?

Yea that part I'm not sure about, mine just ran straight to the manifold. You can see the vacuum line going to it from there.

Someone probably afro-engineered it to cruise control vacuum reserviour. Stock, it goes straight to the leftmost vacuum barb.

lol afro-engineered. But yea that's where mine went before I disabled it.

hey guys thank you for the repiles. it was my main fuel hose. it rotted and was spraying fuel up through where the intake manifold is, onto the passenger side of the motor. i ran ~6 psi for about 3 hours today. sooo much better. i love boost.

One problem, I just blew my headgasket. white smoke, sucking antifreeze gahhh. I cant win.
