I just got a bleed valve from Vortech and it starts to thread in but once it goes so far another part of the bleed valve hits the SFMU so its not letting me screw it in any further. Is this normal? Do I have a bad one or should I just screw it in as much as possible?

did you take out the plug screw first ?

Yeah, it is hitting the housing of the sfmu. I will post a pic on tuners when I get home and give the link.

oh ok i see what ur problem is . take off the checkvalve barb and it will screw all the way on then screw in the barb fitting .

i dont know y they gave you that other fitting . the only one u need is the needle valve ,then a barb fitting screws into the side port which they didnt even give you . from the pics it looks like a regular clippard needle valve .i dont know why it doesnt fit .

Right I shouldn't need one but I cant get the bleed valve to fit all the way in with out hitting the housing of the sfmu. Thats my whole problem. ????

maybe u can grind the fitting down a little bit ?
