i havent posted for scince i got my turbo running but recently when i opened my hood i noticed that the hose going between my intake manifold and valve cover appears to be sweating oil. I have one of those tiny cone filter on where it used to conect to the intake pipe. could my crankcase be getting presurized? what should i do, disconnect it and if so should i cap it off or put another little filter on it? has anyone else had this problem because i could not find anyone using the search funtion.

probably should put the PCV valve back on.

Blowby is normal, get a catchcan, or go back to stock.

never took the pcv valve out that is why the hose is biulding pressure i think. a catch can will stop the sweating but not the presurization is that ok? i will post pics later but im at work now

If you didn't run a PCV inline, the amount of oil from blow-by would be quite messy. Look how bad it can get when you DO have one. Post up some pics soon so we can see exactly whats going on with your issue.

as you can see the stock pcv valve is there. you can not see it well in the pictures but the hose looks shiny because there are hundreds of little drops of oil all over it like condensation on a cold glass during summer that means that there is enough pressure to squeeze the oil through the hose like a sponge. Although i can get a catch can to stop the oil how can i stop the pressurization of the crank case? has anyone seen this before

Get a high quality hose like a heater hose. some condensation is normal but thats rediculous. Your using a hose not designed to have that much heat in it and its not oil resistant. Has nothing to do with pressure.

last time i saw that was when my motor started to die. excessive pressure means do a compression check. i have an oil catch tank with both valve cover hoses going to it and a hole drilled in the top of the tank to releive any press. this should keep your seals from leaking.
